Investigating Human Research Ethics in Practice
Welcome!
‘Investigating Human Research Ethics in Practice’ is an ARC–funded research project within the Centre for Health and Society in the School of Population Health, University of Melbourne.
Its aim is to increase understanding of processes of decision-making in human research ethics. It focuses on both Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) members and health researchers.
In Australia the ethics review process makes for a huge workload. ‘Investigating Human Research Ethics in Practice’ has the potential to make the process more workable and facilitate dialogue.
