Postgraduate departmental Group
In July 2000 the CHS Postgraduate Departmental Group was formed. This was an initiative of the Centre’s postgraduate students. This group now includes postgraduate students from other centres in Melbourne School of Population Health who undertake research in social health areas.
The official aims of the CHS Postgraduate Departmental Group are:
(1) To foster a supportive academic environment by providing opportunities for discussion, collaborative learning and communication of research ideas.
(2) To represent CHS postgraduate students to the Department, Faculty and University, and,
(3) To encourage the social interaction of students within the department.
