Advanced Medical Science (AMS)
The Centre for Health and Society (CHS) offers two AMS units, Medical Humanities and Social Health for University of Melbourne medical AMS students. The Onemda VicHealth Koori Health Unit, with the CHS, also offers AMS students the unit Aboriginal Health. School of Population Health AMS Conference
At the end of Semester 7, all AMS students studying Medical Humanities, Social Health and Aboriginal Health present the findings from their research reports at the SPH AMS Conference. The conference is held at the University, and is usually attended by 80-100 people. Where appropriate, supervisors will encourage students to publish their work.
